再者，以演奏技巧而論，那更是天差地遠！Gustav Leonhardt演奏出來的大鍵琴音色最多五種以內，而 Aimée van de Wiele隨便一彈就是多好幾倍的音色表現；大鍵琴奏方法與鋼琴相差極大的！而Aimée van de Wiele聽得出是善用手指力量的正確彈奏方法，相對的Gustav Leonhardt的手指力量控制真的是遠遠輸一大截。同樣是使用MP3就可以聽出來了。

大鍵琴外型與小平台鋼琴相似，琴內裝有拉緊的絃。與鋼琴不同的是，它沒有琴槌，而是在琴鍵按下時，由附在直立木條上的撥子來撥動琴絃，使絃發生振動。大鍵琴也不像鋼琴一樣有踏板，能夠製造出延續的聲音。

我的認知是，大鍵琴像是在切換開關一樣，不是用力多少就可以改變音色... (如果有錯請糾正)

所以有幾段的stop決定了大鍵琴僅有能改變音色的方式，這還不是所有大鍵琴都能做到的。撇開錄音, 場地或琴的差異，光只看演奏技巧來說，會有到數倍音色的表現差距嗎？
