來自立陶宛的Reed所推出的唱臂與唱盤，絕對是發燒友心目中的逸品，Reed 5T是其首次發表的正切臂，包括了許多的獨特設計與創新技術，加上高品質的設計與製作，是Reed目前最頂級的唱臂。就技術上來說，Reed 5T是正切支點臂，其基於泰勒斯定理(Thales’ theorem ) 所設計。

唱臂管的避震系統與Reed 3P 相似，並使用低噪音運轉的軸心，唱臂的角度由有設限的馬達控制，唱臂的位置由雷射光與線性感應列所控制。

Reed 5T也有VTA與方位角(azimuth)調整的功能。
